USDA www.usda.gov Good information available on region specific gardening, organic farming financing, and grants for those that want to become commercial growers.
National Gardening Association www.garden.org This site offers a wealth of information on everything about gardening.  They seem to have more information on flowers than vegetables, but a very good source nonetheless.
Brighter Blooms www.brighterblooms.com Another very good nursery with a large inventory of plants.
Planet Natural www.planetnatural.com Excellent resource for organic gardening supplies.
George Weigel’s favorite Seed Catalogs http://georgeweigel.net/georges-current-ramblings-and-readlings/10-favorite-garden-catalogs I found some of the most unusual seeds in the catalogs he recommends.
Local Harvest www.localharvest.org Buy all sorts of natural and organic goodies from your local farmers market!
163 Things you can compost http://www.plantea.com/compost-materials.htm I got a kick our of this list, and so far everything I have composted from this list works.
Non-GMO Report www.non-gmoreport.com A good resource about non-genetically modified organisms.  Stay on top of news and current events about the fight for natural food and truth in food labeling.
Organic Consumers Association www.organicconsumers.org This is one of my favorite sites because OGA is all about action.  They on-going campaigns for better food quality and make it easy for you to join the fight for a healthy, more environmentally conscious farming industry.
Seed Savers Exchange www.seedsavers.org This site is for heirloom seed lovers who want to participate in preserving heirloom seeds.
Gardener’s Supply Company www.gardeners.com Very nice online catalog of gardening tools and supplies.
Slow FoodUSA www.slowfoodusa.org Slow food is an idea, a way of living and a way of eating.  It is part of a global, grassroots movement with thousands of members.
Small Farm Today www.smallfarmtoday.com An great resource for the small, start up farmer!
Hobby Farms www.hobbyfarms.com This site has more information that I could ever write about.  If farming is your hobby, you want to check out this site!
I Dig My Garden www.idigmygarden.com This site is all about seeds.  I found my favorite seed vendor thru this site.
Rodale Institute www.rodaleinstitute.org They have been organic pioneers since 1947.  They are one of the most preeminent organic resources around today.
Native Seeds www.nativeseeds.org This site breaks down the full history of seeds.  Lots of good information on seed origins.
CooksGarden www.cooksgarden This site is dedicated to cooks that also like to garden.  An interesting blend of products and resources.
